Hello all. I’ve researched my questions few times and always find different answers. Hopefully someone here knows a definitive answer or can point me in the right direction.

I (American citizen) and my finance who is a Filipina citizen are in the process of getting all the paperwork to apply. Right now she resides in Hong Kong for work and is a resident there. She got her divorce in Hong Kong since the Philippines does not have divorce there.

Will we be able to start the k1 process with the divorce decree she has? She will do her interview in Hong Kong.
