23M — Looking for genuine friends / people to talk to
Greetings people of the internet. As the title says, I’m currently looking for some new friends or maybe that one person I can consistently talk to and play games with.
Lately life’s felt a little lonely. Waking up and trying to start conversations with people who barely respond gets exhausting after a while, so I figured I’d put myself out there instead of just sitting with it. I know posts like this usually get looked at and ignored sometimes, especially when you’re not a girl posting on these subs, but maybe someone out there feels the same way I do and is also looking for someone genuine to talk to.
So here’s a little about me.
I’m 23, online way more than I should be, and a complete nerd. I’m into comics, manga, WEBTOONs, movies, anime, and gaming. I’m a graphic designer, so I spend a lot of time making logos, graphics, and random creative projects for streamers and people online. I’m also a writer, so if you enjoy creativity or storytelling we’ll probably get along instantly.
As for games, I’ve mainly been playing Fortnite, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, and a few others, but I’m always open to trying new games if it means having someone to play with.
Personality wise, I’m not dry at all. If I had to explain my humor, imagine Spider-Man mixed with a little Deadpool energy. I joke around a lot, I can be sarcastic, but I also know when to be serious and actually listen.
I’m the type of person who puts effort into people. I’ll text back when I can, I remember little things, I like checking in on people, and I enjoy making others feel important. Not in a clingy way, just in a “you matter to me” kind of way.
What I’m looking for is honestly simple:
Someone who enjoys real conversations, random late night talks, sending memes, joking around while gaming, or just existing together online while talking about life. I don’t need someone exactly like me, just someone who actually wants a friendship instead of dry conversations that disappear after two days.
I guess what I’m’m looking for is the kind of friendship you see in movies, games, or anime. The people who make life feel a little less lonely.
Maybe that sounds unrealistic, but I think real connections still exist somewhere.
Anyway, if you read all this, I genuinely appreciate it. Even if this post goes nowhere, I wanted to leave it here just in case someone out there is looking for the same thing.
