I passed and was shocked I did. I think it’s natural on that exam to feel like you’re not going to pass because you feel like 80% of the test you’re using critical thinking skills and it can feel like you’re guessing.

I took the test doing very little studying because hearing people talk about the wording scared me. So I took it the 1st time to see the layout knowing I’d fail and then went back and studied for about a week and passed AT/AT/T/BT.

What helped me? I had to learn terms; I needed to know what PM terminology meant and why it was used, and that made me feel comfortable in my choices. But knowing how a PM thinks helped A LOT.

Taking practice tests using Pocket Prep and Landini also helped because it helped me problem-solve through questions, which you’ll need to do on the exam. I was scoring 70%-80% on those.

Overall if you’re a critical thinker you should be fine. GOOD LUCK!
