Eligibility for the UK Global Talent Visa through the GRANT route

I currently have the opportunity to join a large international project funded through a $70 million initiative over six years and delivered through a collaboration between African institutions and a UK university.

The funder itself is not currently listed among the UKRI-approved endorsed funders. However, the project is formally linked to a UK university and involves international scientific research collaboration, with 6 years collaboration and through 70$ million budget.

In this context, would I still potentially be eligible to apply for the Global Talent Visa through the grant route, or would the funding source prevent eligibility?

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the disciplines listed under each endorsing body.

My background and experience are in global health, including research and professional work. However, I’ve noticed that “global health” is not explicitly listed while related fields like public health and tropical medicine are mentioned.

In your experience:

* How strictly do endorsing bodies interpret these discipline labels? * Is it acceptable to position “global health” within these broader or related categories? * Or do they expect a very close match to the exact terminology listed?

I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.

Thank you!

Hello,

I need to apply for the global talent visa " Route 4 " : peer reviewed by the Royal Society as exceptional Promise.

I am outside the UK, african nationality. I supposed to apply after 4 - 5 months from now. However, I really need guidance as my case is not very typical.

I reached out to multiple " GTV Advisor " through Linkedin. All are very expensive. One offer just one meeting = 100 £.

I would really appreciate if any one who is GTV recipient to be patient with me through the process and guide me.

I do not know if that seems a silly question. But do you think I have good chances for getting GTV (Exceptional Promise) if I have BSc and PGDip? One degree is from one of the Russell Group. I was the youngest and only african female in a very prestigious scientific committee international conference. I have research experiences, however, some are published in trusted websites (not peer reviewed journals), other are under review. Also, I did many great initiatives in my field. Does that have a chance?

In addition, I can be able to secure a recommendation letter from a very eminent professor in the UK.

My field is Global Health
