I made the cover in PowerPoint. I found the background and girl on freepic. I removed the background for the girl on PowerPoint. Made the shadows for her person manually in PowerPoint. I added the filer in PowerPoint. Used Canva for text and put another filter on top.
Yes, it needs work. But I'm working with what I got here. 😭
I have not stopped thinking about these Zuko edits ya'll! The first time I watched ATLA, I was 9. 😭
Safe to say, I grew up with it. And Zuko has always been there in my development years. I've rewatched the show so many times.
I wrote my first chapter. I tried to tie the events in the book into actual Canon throughout ATLA/TLOK.
My OC lived in Ba Sing Se when it fell (just as old as Zuko was then) . Think ending of S2 ATLA. So Zuko being a part of the fall, it's an enemies to lovers.
It takes place years later in Republic City. My time line features Katara's first pregnancy with Bumi, and an extremist group called The Purists. (I kept it as basic as the show would) they don't like that nation's are mixing. And Katara's pregnancy with the Avatar is a problem for them.
My character is a whistle blower, who now has to be placed in an in universe version of 'witness protection'.
Forced proximity to the Firelord himself.
