Having IUD removed after 9 years

I’m 25 and have had an IUD for 9 years (Skyla, Kyleena, and year and half into my second Kyleena) and will be getting it removed in a little over a week. When I got my first one, I had regular periods with minimal symptoms, however I don’t know what my cycle looks like in adulthood, especially since getting diagnosed with PCOS in early 2025. I know everyone’s bodies handle things differently, but can anyone share what their experience was coming off of a hormonal IUD after years? My main reason for wanting it removed is to assess my cycles before my husband and I consider trying for kids later this year.
