It finally happened to me. Got the dreaded line on the right side of my screen. Before I got the chance to take it in to the local repair shop recommended by google support who told me this would be covered due to the known defect issue the screen fully went black. Now I get to shell out 250 for a new screen because the repair shop can’t verify that the line was there. Google support was 0 help. No external damage or screen damage as well as no water damage. Super cool for a phone that is only 2 years old.
