Funny side story, I was making a joke about worn bottom brackets to a friend who doesn't know anything at all and when I approached one of these bikes on the street randomly, I tested the crank for play. It literally rocked like I've never seen before.... These people literally have the balls to ride without balls (bearings)! These bikes refuse to die it appears!
