All right, so I am in need of some creative help. I’m surprising my in-law with a family dnd one shot for their birthday. But at least half of the family doesn’t know how to play or care. But they are doing it anyways because they care. All are adults and drinking will be had. I need some ideas that will make it interesting for those who don’t care about that game and fun for those who do.

An idea I had was not so much do a typical job post, but more of a contest. Like a tavern/ carnival having games and they can use character abilities to help win games. But at the end, there is a fight. Kind of a non traditional game but with DND mechanics.

Open to any ideas, need to get this together by this coming Monday.
