Kiefer permanently left the party. Are you friggen kidding me? It's not even about the loss of the character himself. It's about losing him in battle. I cannot stand when RPGs just rip a character away like that. If it's toward the end, ok fine. But this early on? Nah.
Especially for such a dumbass reason as staying for a girl and protecting a village. Like bro, we were going around helping dozens of villages, but this is the one you're going to abandon your companions for? And he's just like "yea I'm staying ok good luck bye!".
It pissed me off so much I'm probably going to put the game down. He was my fav character inside and outside of battle. Do you even get another character with the same, or similar stats and abilities?
So stupid. I wouldn't have bought the game if I knew he just bounced like this.
