Long story short, I've been in a relationship for 16 years that has involved coercive control and sexual abuse, I recently saw my partner's Reddit history, and found out he has been sexting other women. On top of that, he has also been posting in subs related to sexual fantasies, one of them was a rape fantasy, which got taken down by the moderators - which suggests it must have been bad for them to do so, in a sub dedicated to dark sexual fantasies?
Maybe I'm being paranoid, maybe vindictive after the sexting, but I can't help but wonder whether he has enacted, or is going to enact these fantasies, judging by his past behaviour towards me? I know that he already has a criminal record that consists mostly of Drunk and Disorderly charges as a teenager, but can't help but wonder what other secrets he might have been keeping from me (maybe some documented violence against women).
If I can find the courage to leave, and get myself and my children into a safer situation, would any evidence of previous violence support me in filing for divorce? Would it affect my custody rights in any way?
