People who are partially correct but then act like they were correct about the whole thing.

If you ever encountered a conspiracy theorist you may know what I'm talking about. They'll make 10 claims, get 3 right, 4 wrong, and the remaining are tbd. However the 3 they got right somehow validates the other 7. Or they simply ignore the fact they made the 7 other claims.

Of course it's not just conspiracy theorist though. Have you ever watched a show or movie with someone who likes to predict what will happen next?

They'll say something like "Kevin is about to flip out watch"

The scene rolls and all Kevin does is take a deep breathe and run his fingers through his hair.

Them: "See I told you!"

Me: "Kevin didn't flip out though"

Them: "He's obviously mad look"

Me: "Yes, but no, but okay"

You see this play out with people who claim to be good judges of character, in where they'll hear a rumor and go "aha I knew this person was weird." Just for a few days a pass and it comes out that everything was a misunderstanding.

The need to right even when the stakes are so low baffles me sometimes.
