Increase the width of sheathing?
Our foundation was poured out of square leaving an overhang on one corner, which I know is fine, but what would be recommended on the adjacent corner where the concrete is 1 1/4" past the sill plate? As is, once the sheathing is installed, the siding won't be able to overhang the foundation wall (not even close). Would it be appropriate to ask to add more sheathing to increase the width of that wall to get closer to flush with the foundation? Luckily, it is only a 4' bump out for the great room, so it wouldn't take that much extra sheathing.
I talked with our site manager to see how they wanted to address it, and he just said it was fine for the siding to just sit on the foundation wall (can't this least to water settling against the framing over time and rotting things)? The last picture I attached is the same model house as ours, but it doesn't have the same issue. Just attached it to show the corner that I am referring to.
