So I see so many whichcraft posts, and how to do different spells/what to use/ process...but like why?

Are there any good books or guides or websites that breakdown which different parts of the craft actually contribute?

And yes im still very new so any off the wall guidance and tips you've learned that aren't in the typically 'beginners guides' would be truly appreciated!

So Im pretty new to practice and tried to do some research, and this is what I have planned for the day to celebrate Beltane that is a balance of low cost/effort but still putting best foot forward.

Started with a walk and really paid attention to the nature around me (desert life so it was interesting to actually see colors)

I plan to do spell work consisting of writing what I wish to remove of my life and pull my energy back from, filled with flowers I spotted today consisting of reds and yellows. (Dont have hawthorne but plan to use these as protection against) ill burn the slips and pour in the ashes. Then sealing with green wax and stamped with mint leaves to cleanse the energy around it. And finally plan to bury it in the woods to completely remove that energy.

Once thats done I plan to deep cleanse my house and remove any extra "junk" and space fillers that no longer serve me and help reduce clutter (this also includes deactivating trash service, which is a long story for a different time, but not a hoarder I promise haha) then cleanse the house with sage.

From there I would like to try and bake the lavendar honey cookies ive been seeing even though im not the best baker but we'll try. And of course light candles as I cant have a bonfire.

Then finish off the night with a tarot spread that I have decided on yet so any ideas would be huge. Something that can show me whats taking too much energy, if theres something that I havent been honest about with myself, and somwthing to build confidence that im on the right path maybe? Again still very new (6 months patchy practicing) so finding spreads doesnt always come easy to me.

The last thing will be the full moon energy of moon water, charging rose quartz and Garnet, also lookin for garnet piercings if anyone knows a good place to accommodate.

Does this all sound feasible? Am I doing too much too little? Missing anything? Any feedback is super appreciated!

new to the group and very new to tarot (a patchy 4 months practicing). I've done the 13 card spread on the new year and do monthly reads but now im trying to find i guess a grounding spread?

like im not sure what to ask directly alot of things are happening in my life, most bad, and alot of internal turmoil.

Are there any good spreads that basically just have open questions of like how to make sense of things, where should my focus be, are things manageable like I think im mainly searching for an achor I guess and not sure how to get that through to my deck clearly.

any help is super appreciated, and if you have any tid bit tricks or helpful hints on building a stronger connection with ur deck I would take those as well!
