Saying goodbye
Things change, but what kind of world would it be if they didn't. Sometimes you don't like the change.
I went out to say goodbye to a place near my home in southeastern Alaska. A gold mine is going into it, as well as an access road. It's not a "Wilderness" or even really a wilderness, but it's a wild place. One more wild place lost to "progress". I will miss it as it is now.
