Moving out to metro manila(50characters hahehwhshwhahwh)
Hi everyone, maganding gabi. By the way, I’m from Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro City. I will take a big step in my life to move out to a bigger city. I love Cagayan de Oro but for my growth. I will take the risk, and I have a flight in a few weeks to visit and find an apartment in Metro Manila.
However, I don’t know yet what cities in Metro Manila where I will be moving or find an apartment, since I’m living alone (my friends in Manila will just visit me), at least may malulutoan lang ako (para tipid instead of ordering food or bibili sa karinderya) or an apartment with room or spacious. And also malapit sa wet market, malls, and safe. I already searched online (Facebook and Facebook Marketplace), I already sighted two units to visit but it’s in Manda. My friends actually recommend three major cities, Makati, Taguig, and Manda.
I’m all in to move out in metro but I just wanna know your opinions and rent/landlord tips especially in metro, here in CDO. It’s totally different, we don’t actually have a contract here when renting an apartment, like my current situation here, and baka ma culture shock ako kasi nasanay ako dito sa CDO. It’s my first time to visit in Manila in a few weeks too but my friends in Manila will be there to guide me, I already have the funds to sustain my moveout journey since I will sell all my materials/stuff here in CDO so I will just bring my clothes and myself when I already found a better unit in Manila
My budget for apartment monthly rent is 10-15k. I hope pets are allowed at least cats since I have a cat, but I will not bring him yet until I settle down in Manila(Puhon).
