Please help me diagnose my kitten
My 9 month year old kitten has been poorly with liver issues most of his life but he was getting so much better, putting on weight and generally being healthy. Therefore, we decided to get him castrated last week (6 days ago) and the surgery went fine, however since then he’s had thick drool coming from his mouth and keeps opening and closing his mouth in a chattering motion. He also looks massively in pain and can’t eat much at all even though he seems hungry and is meowing for food. Ive taken him back to the vets twice now and the vet says it’s not linked and he’s just an unhealthy cat and to monitor his weight. Please can someone advise if this is a common problem and whether antibiotics could fix this?
