Origin of this image?
I've found this image on a postcard inside a books I bought online and I'm curious about it, whether it is a generic image, known one, or simply someone's memory.
The postcard was found inside Italo Calvino's "Invisible cities", and bought from a UK online used books store, don't know if that's relevant.
Couldn't find any exact visual match on Google, but I'm just curious about it.
