[Online] [5e 2024] [Wed. 7:00 PM PST] [18+] Punchy, kinetic, short heroic fantasy for 3-4 players, may lead into long campaign
CAMPAIGN LORE:
A smelly goblin bursts from a crate bound for Baldur’s Gate, yelling “BREE-YARK!” as they knock over a barrel while lunging at you.
CAMPAIGN FORMAT:
I will run a short 5e 2024 heroic fantasy campaign for 3-4 players, every Wednesday at 7:00 PM PST (3:00 AM UTC) with 3 hour sessions. Planned to last around 2 months.
We’ll play a one-shot before this short campaign to see if our playstyles gel. The one-shot won’t happen this upcoming Wednesday (5/13); players have time to think about commitment.
If the short campaign goes well, I’m open to running a separate long campaign afterwards with the same tone and expectations.
I use Discord and FoundryVTT.
WHAT I OFFER:
- Gameplay first, aesthetics second
- Choice-first RP, acting welcome
- RAW preferred over rule-of-cool
- A world shaped by player inquiry, not DM lore
- Mythic forces, non-human minds
- Table-driven controlled chaos
- Timed combat
WHAT I DON’T OFFER:
- Strong backstory plot integration
- Detailed worldbuilding, strict canon
- Deeply complicated NPCs
- Heavy, bleak, or traumatic themes
- Support for intense party drama
- A campaign you watch
- Snacks
Players dare, live, and collaborate. This is our playstyle. Willingness to learn it is the only requirement. Your background and experience don’t matter; a seat at this table awaits you.
This campaign has no title. If you want to help it earn one, fill out this survey: https://forms.gle/e8sT6LVh6yNn4NK27
