I was originally planning a trip with 3 kids (ages 8, 5 and 5) for the last week of April 2027 (April 24-May 1). I just discovered it would save us about $2,000 to book in the first week of May instead (May 1-8) because of DVC point values (we are planning to rent points and are a party of 7).

Seems like a no brainer to push back, but I’ve been told by AI that humidity/heat/rain will likely be a lot worse. Seems extreme given that it’s just a one week difference; how valid of a concern is this? Is this just AI overthinking it because it’s comparing general April/May stats?
