Hi, since 2024 I've noticed multiple weird things happening on/through my & my family's apple devices; for example, I saw documents for a paid app that I never purchased appear on my icloud drive, sim swapping happened with my previous phone number, multiple new phone numbers added to my family's phone plan (it allowed up to 5 separate phone numbers on one plan, only had 2 normally, and the address for that plan was changed to an address in a neighbouring country with 3 phone numbers added that neither me nor my dad requested) - my phone & ipad also had the passcode changed remotely (apple id too), so I was locked out of those devices, also strange location services stuff on meta apps (I noticed my instagram was logged in in a city that I wasn't near at all, and multiple cities that I've never even been in, the only device logged into that instagram account is my iphone 17 that I was holding in my own hands in a location nowhere near the location stated in meta/instagram app settings...? This happened multiple times, last time I noticed this was quite recently too - like maybe 2 weeks ago) it seems like my previous instagram account was also hacked, I got emails in late 2024 requesting to log in to my instagram that I, at the time, didn't pay much attention to but by late 2025 that instagram account got deleted for idk what reason, just couldn't log in anymore and the account was gone. Additional weird things that might be linked to all this circus clownery: my airpods were stolen, along with my wallet containing id and debit card, in a hospital but not long after I went to the police station to file a complaint the wallet and airpods reappeared in that hospital almost magically which I found quite sus. The id is something I wanted to mention, as I had my security pincode for various id connected government stuff in my notes app on my phone which makes me worry about for example the possibility of identity theft and anything else that could be done with that type of info/identification. I already changed all pin codes like the one for my ID/debit card, phone/ipad as well as my icloud password and phone number, but I'm still both confused and stressed out about how this all happened and what could be done to prevent this stuff ever happening again? Any thoughts or info on precautions to take would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
