Hello good people,

I grew up dreaming of getting my own Jeep someday, and finally I’m in the right financial state to get one. Yesterday I test drove a wrangler (2021 Sahara 4xe), and been grinning ear to ear since. I’m not too attached to that specific vehicle, but am quite sold on getting a wrangler this month.

Seeking advice from y’all on what to look for, what to avoid etc etc. My requirements are quite basic:

  1. I’m 40M, single dad to a 5 year old. 4 doors are a priority for easy access to child seat

  2. It’ll be my daily drive. Average mileage will be ~11k/year

  3. Off roading is quite minimal. I live in BayArea, so the weather is mostly good. I just want to be a boy who happily drives his jeep every day

  4. I’ll take it up to the mountains during winters. Wondering if the soft top will make it too cold on the inside

Help out a noob! I’ll pay it forward at the right time!
