I played the Nioh 3 demo earlier this year. It didn’t click with me, but I love souls-likes. Out of any subgenre it is the one I enjoy the most. I see a lot of discussion regarding Nioh 3 and how exceptional it is. People praise the combat, bosses, variety in loot etc. I know the story is mediocre at best but I don’t play souls-likes for an incredible story. As long as the lore is good, I’m good.

Did anyone else have a similar issue? Did it not click with you at the start but then you ended up loving it the further you got into the world? Do I need to give it more time? Just need help deciding whether I’ll make a purchase.
