I love sport but I never dwelled much into Basketball, a few years back I didn’t know any NBA team appart the Lakers and the Bull, and I only knew Tony Parker, Jordan, Kobe and LeBron.

untill 4 years ago, when I heard that in my country was born a potential GOAT of the sport and that he was joining the draft. That’s when I first heard about this franchise, the Spurs. I heard that I was supposed to root for them to get Wemby at the draft so I did.

I discovered the hype and watched reaction of Spurs fans learning they got the first pick. but I was even more happy when I saw Vic tearing up After his draft.

So i started following him from afar, watching summary from time to time. and without noticing I started watching them all. not only for Wemby but for the whole team, for the fan, for the city, for pop, for the franchise.

now And I don’t see myself loving any other team. the spurs are just so amazing. I will forever be grateful to the gods of basketball for putting Wemby here.

watching every playoff summary when I wake up or staying up late to catch a first quarter and when I’m lucky enjoying an early day game. this has been such a blast.

now I’m learning more about this Game legends, Bird, Chamberlain, Johnson, Duncan…

So thank you to yall Spurs fans for being so awesome that you made me a NBA fan as well.
