I’m considering renting a place near 1609 Parnell St, Augusta, GA 30904 and wanted to get honest feedback from locals before signing the lease.

I work at Augusta University and the location seems convenient, but I’d love to know:
• how safe the area feels overall (especially for a female tenant)
• whether the apartments there are generally well maintained
• experiences with management/maintenance
• laundry situation, noise, parking, pests, etc.
• overall renting experience in that area

Preferences:

• Budget: around $500-750/month
• Looking for a private room (separate bathroom preferred) or studio/1ba apartment
• Open to 2 bed / 2 bath or similar setup
• Walkable distance to campus (I don’t have a car)
• Female roommate only

I would really appreciate a friendly, respectful, and clean roommate — someone easy to get along with and comfortable sharing a space 😊
