At the end of interstellar old Murph says something along the lines of "She is out there, at the light of a new star". now this caught my attention because i remembered that when cooper left the tesseract, it closed behind him and i thought, "if the beings controlling the tesseract wanted Edmond's planet to be not cold, could they have reversed Gargantua's age to the state of a stable star for Edmond's planet to be warm?" I know this doesnt change much in the story but i was curious about your guy's thoughts?

the answer may be obvious but i dont understand. wouldn't the gravity pull the ship down and make it lose WAY too much fuel?
