My husky keeps on acting up
Hi all, I have a 14-month old Siberian husky called Gojira. For the most part he's always been a good boy. He responds very well to commands, he goes in his crate when someone rings the doorbell, he's very good with the kids and besides the normal husky shenanigans he's not really causing any trouble.
But the past month his behavior has changed. It started the first time when we were going on our daily walk, when all of a sudden he turned around and starting to go for my legs. I was able to properly direct him away using his leash and all of a sudden he turned back around again and we continued on our walk without any issues.
Last week I was playing fetch with him in the yard, when all of a sudden he started going for my arms. And it weren't just the playful bites for when we mess around, he was really going hard and wouldn't calm down. I tried to take him by the collar to lead him to his crate, but he kept fighting me to break free. Eventually I wrestled him down to the ground and I kept him there until he finally calmed down. But he got some really good bites in there, leaving my arms black and bruised. 15 minutes later he just came to sit next to me and showered me with kisses and he just rested his head on my lap as if he knew he did something wrong and was trying to make up.
And than yesterday while I was working the yard, without warning he came from behind and bit me in the arm again. This time he didn't fight me when taking him by the collar to take him to his bench, but he was growling all the way there.
I don't really know what to think of this behavior. Is he just testing me? But I'm just getting a bit worried because this really isn't playing anymore. So far he's only displaying this behavior towards me. But I'm becoming very distrusting of him when he's around the kids.
