At this stage Gemini performance is degrading day by day. I don't know how they are going to keep up with others.
Here, a simple nasty but trivial bug about a front page banner dependent on an environment variable, not being displayed suddenly. Model selection on auto for most of the conversation.
Problem is not about the bug itself, but how Gemini kept forcing me to go down a solution path that was never going to solve it. This entire conversation was about the bug, Every - single - turn - it would ask me to approve the change. I still don't have the root cause, but it was proven its not because of what Gemini was proposing all along.
Very poor performance.
