I just need some brutal honesty and to vent to people who might understand, because this semester has completely crushed my spirit.
For some context: I started community college back in 2023 when I was 24. Back then, I was working part-time and just grinding, taking as many credits as I could handle. Somewhere along the way, I ended up taking a semester off to get my other things straight.
I’m working full-time overnight from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, while trying to tackle STEM classes. I also take my physical health and weight training seriously, but the sleep deprivation from balancing night shifts, studying, and the gym has completely destroyed me. My mental and physical health were going places I didn’t know existed. it was extremely bad. I am coming up on my third 'F' on my transcript. I only have four classes left to finally finish this Associate's degree, but looking at my transcript and realizing I'm just getting older is messing with my head. Is this even the right path for me anymore? With a transcript looking this terrible and the absolute hell it takes to balance full-time overnights with school, is a BS even obtainable at this point with such a terrible gpa.
