How would you feel? P-12 small school setting. We’re losing a teacher and have not filled the position. I have been told those students will join my current class meaning I will have 3 year levels and 25 students (maximum class size for the year levels I have)
All other teachers in the school have straight year levels with the biggest class having 15 students (we are lucky to have great class sizes!)
I know the numbers are within class size limits and multi age is common but I just can’t help but feel I am taking an unfair teaching load across the school. I am only a first year teacher.
