I'm listening to 1994 highlights in the background during my workday, etc.

Look at all of the interesting/great stuff that happened that year & compare it to the end of terrestrial radio & satellite

  • Howard runs for governor

  • E! Show debuts

  • OJ Murder happens & subsequent talk / song parodies

  • Peter Jennings/ABC OJ prank call during the Bronco chase by Maury from Brooklyn

  • Al Michaels comes on to talk about the OJ call to ABC - with Billy West imitating Al

  • Pat Cooper freaks out & walks off the show after realizing he's being set up

  • John DeBella comes on the show in person to ask for permission to work in radio again

  • Goofing on Gary over the birth of his first kid

  • The Jackie Puppet debuts & Billy West ends up voicing it

  • Conan O'Brien & the Jackie Puppet

  • The Gary Puppet debuts & then gets kidnapped

  • Cleveland Funeral, wires are cut

  • Fred eloped & didn't invite anyone to the wedding

  • Fred almost died at Scores for his post wedding bachelor party

  • Roseanne & Tom Arnold come on the show separately after being enemies of the show

  • Pam Anderson comes on the show for the first time & drives everyone crazy

  • Man on the street interviews about Marion Barry & OJ

  • Howard saves suicidal caller on George Washington Bridge

Is this the absolute peak year of the Stern show? The collection I have is missing most of January & February, so there could be even more stuff that is not listed here.
