Finally switching over to Linux, Need Help deciding!!
Hello Linux community !
I have finally decided to switch over to Linux and I have no idea where I should start, can you guys please help me!!
I mostly use my pc for gaming and other basic tasks like editing, animation, coding, transferring stuff to my mobile, watching anime etc.
These are my priorities in order :
Gaming (I'm comfortable doing complicated steps and staring at my screen for hours due to frustration)
Compatibility - it would be nice if all my equipment like mouse, mic, monitor, network adapter, gpu etc, their respective and additional software would be compatible and when I upgrade my stuff, it would not tangle with previous things
Extra features & Visuals - If possible I would like to have a customizable distro , like boot animation, GUI if it's there , etc.
Also extra stuff like tools for testing or anything... Basically a distro which can do things whatever a windows can do + it's extra function.
My main priority is gaming, thus I'm going for Efficiency over simplicity.
Thank you for reading this!
Have a great day!
