Australian slang
Hello Aussie friends,
I've stumbled upon a problem I need you to help me solve. I am an avid reader of romances, and while English is not my first language, it's actually the only one I read my books in. I was certain I knew almost of the metaphores/comparisons/slang used to describe a penis, but I'm currently reading a novel from an Aussie author from Melbourne who uses the term "toe" to describe it, something I had never heard before and which puzzles me greatly, because I do not like to not understand what I'm reading.
After a (vaguely) thorough research on the Internet, I have no one else to turn to but you to enlighten me : is "toe" indeed an australian word to describe a penis, or did the editor not do their job properly by erasing that word to replace it with an actual term to describe male genitalia ?
