New to BC from the states, had a great set up there. Looking to reproduce the fintech bank I was using that mimic'd the envelope budgeting system but through a bank, not a budgeting app. I also don't understand the finance game here. Are there resources people know about to learn more about the equivalent of 401ks or how people survive after retirement here? I am working towards permanent residency then citizenship as I know that factors in.

Looking for resources and maybe suggestions of people who have terrible budgeting skills needing the envelope system and how they manage their money here in BC?
