Could someone please give me feedback on my thesis?
I've missed a few days of class, and desperately need to catch up. My teacher was supposed to review my thesis but hasn't yet, and I really don't wish to inconvenience them more than I already have. I've been told I write like an AI, and wanted to see if my writing was stiff or overly formal, as I have trouble catching those things myself. The assignment was any essay sharing our thoughts on Chinua Achebe's book, Things Fall Apart. I'll leave it below. Any notes are greatly appreciated! ^^
"In Things Fall Apart, Achebe portrays the nature of generational trauma through the relationships between Unoka, Okonkwo, and Nwoye, as Okonkwo’s shame over his own father’s perceived weakness causes him to overcompensate, and become cruel and violent towards his own son. Despite his neurotic attempts to avoid becoming like Unoka, Okonkwo’s obsession with masculinity and his fear of dishonour ultimately lead Nwoye to repudiate him, and leave him alone to die a ‘dishonorable’ death, just as Okonkwo did Unoka."
