It looks like Rashawn wanted to subliminally let us know they were working on straight shot given a post he made on May 5th. It will be interesting to see if Straight Shot is played.

1 year ago today Dave Matthews played a show in Houston at White Oak Music Hall sponsored by Wells Fargo for their Wells Fargo Autograph Cardholders. Here is the Two Step performance that closed the show. The full show is available on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXP6KHaiCtw

I have come to terms with DMB not having a violin player for the time being. But what is a tragedy is the fact they have Jeff Coffin (or that time Ben The Sax Guy filled in in NYC) sitting on stage every night and you don't let him loose on #41 and instead have a Trumpet and Electric Guitar solo is head scratching.

This song was meant for smooth Jazzy Sax. Yes Roi's Listener Supported solo is unrivaled as far as Sax Solos but Jeff holds his own when he can actually play it. It doesn't need to be as drawn out as this version from London in 2009 but give Jeff Stanley Coffin the same space on #41 as he is given on songs like The Stone to cook up magic. There are plenty of other songs Rashawn and Tim can solo on that fit their instruments better than #41. The band letting Jeff solo again on this song would be a huge upgrade.
