Hi everyone,
I have been accepted into the Information Security Master’s programme, 2 years, at NTNU in Gjøvik, and I am trying to figure out whether relocating is strictly necessary.
I am currently based in Oslo for work, and ideally I would like to stay here and only travel to Gjøvik when absolutely required, for example exams and presentations.
I noticed that some courses seem to offer online components, but I am not sure how feasible it is to follow the programme mostly remotely in practice.
Has anyone here done this programme while living elsewhere?
Is physical presence required regularly, or just occasionally?
Are lectures and labs typically accessible online?
Would you say relocating is necessary, or just recommended?
I appreciate any insights or experiences.
