I am an incoming PhD student at UNL from out of state and will be hoping to sign a lease and move by August. I've already looked at the wiki and through related threads, but wanted to ask for apartment recs personally since I'm from out-of-state and not familiar with Lincoln at all.
My budget would be approximately $1,000 or less per month. Ideally, I am looking for an apartment near City Campus (driving or biking distance is fine), with an in-unit washer/dryer, and a balcony or patio since I love gardening. However, I know I have a "cheap" budget and may not get all of that. I will be bringing one cat.
Additionally, if anyone knows of a private landlord they had a good experience with, please let me know!
