Seeking Millwork Wizard to save historic trim in our 1915 home

Hey Barrie! We are in the middle of a restoration project on our 1915 home and have hit a roadblock.

We’re widening a door frame between the mudroom and living room. We are desperate to keep the original look, but because of the new width, we need a custom-milled top header to match the existing profile.

The Specs:
- Profile: 4 3/4” wide x 3/4” thick (See photos for the specific curve/detail)
- Length: Need ~38” for this door.
- We have the custom shavers/blades to match the millwork (attached photo)

We aren’t looking for a "close enough" Home Depot fix. We’re willing to do a batch order so we have extra stock to repair other rooms in the house down the road. We are more than happy to pay for quality craftmanship to keep this history alive.

Does anyone know a local shop, carpenter, or "old-school" millwork firm in Simcoe County who handles custom historic profiles?

Any leads would be amazing. Thanks, neighbours!

Moustache novice here! I’m loving the progress, but the "over-the-lip" stage is getting messy. Looking for honest feedback on how it’s coming along so far (open to any advice or critiques). I know the length is too long over the top lip in this pic.

I want to keep the top layers growing out to get more thickness/length, but I need to clean up the bottom edge so I can actually eat lol.

How do you clear the lip line without accidentally thinning out the rest of the stache? Any tools for precision?

Any product recs (waxes/oils) to train the hair to stay out of my mouth?

Any tips for a beginner would be huge. Thanks!
