My cat won’t stop screaming?
Hi! (I am in the US) I moved two months ago and my cat has been acting a little out of the ordinary. When she first got adopted about 5 years ago and we moved she did exhibit similar behavior but I can’t remember if it was this often. She’s always had more of a raspy meow so when she meows loudly it sounds like she’s yowling/in pain. I have come to accept that’s just how she sounds lol. She just turned 8 years old, had her yearly check up a little over a month ago, and then was back at the vet two weeks ago for a uti. She was treated with antibiotics for five days and has been done with them since last week now.
Lately she has been meowing loudly constantly. At night specifically. Shes also spayed, has a timed feeder, and receives plenty of treats so I don’t think she’s actually hungry (even if she acts like it). She yelled a lot when we moved last time but this time feels like a lot. She also threw up yesterday and it was different than what it normally looks like. Instead of looking like cat food it was green and honestly looked more like diarrhea. I can definitely take her back to the vet if needed but her bloodwork was normal at her checkup and when we went for the uti they didn’t notice any issues/discomfort at all. She has not thrown up like that again but I am watching her closely. She is an indoor cat at all times except for supervised porch time. The porch has no access to plants/dirt or anything. She also is unable to reach the few cat safe plants I do have in the house. I just want to know if her screaming all the time is normal or if we should get back to the vet. Thank you!!
