Context: I asked "headphonezone guru" regarding iem advice as I am very new to iem's.My request was to find a iem which sounds as close to as possible to senhesiser cx 275s but for some reason I feel like they are not giving proper advice and it's just a sales pitch. I might be wrong here ,hence reaching out to the experienced folks here .

My budget is 10-20k .

Headphonezone response:

How much is this actually true and how much is bs and would agree or disagree and what would u suggest

Hi,

I appreciate you sharing the results of your research! It shows you’ve really dug deep into the community favorites. However, let’s look at how those specific models compare to the "soul" of the CX 275s you’re trying to replicate:

Evaluating Your Findings

Letshuoer - S12 Pro / Ultra: While these are technically brilliant, they tend to be quite lean. They lack the "body" and the thick, warm weight in the lower mids that made the CX 275s so enjoyable for everyday listening.

7Hz - Timeless: I’d steer clear of this if you want the Sennheiser vibe. The Timeless is much more neutral and linear; compared to the CX 275s, it will likely feel "thin" or "flat" to your ears. It’s not the bass-heavy experience you’re looking for.

Sennheiser - IE 300: This is the closest in the Sennheiser family, but even this has moved toward a more "balanced" audiophile tuning. It won't have that same raw, unapologetic V-shape punch you're used to.

Why the 7Hz x Crinacle - Diablo Wins

Think of the Diablo as a "more bodied" version of the S12. It gives you that incredible planar detail but fills in the sound with a much richer, more muscular low-end. It captures that "fun" energy of the CX 275s better than any of the other options you listed.

The Diablo comes with a high-end audiophile cable, but it doesn't have a mic. Since you need this for calls and meetings, I recommend adding a third-party cable:

The Recommendation: Headphone Zone - Everlong Mic Cable

Why: It is an affordable, high-quality silver-plated oxygen-free copper cable with a reliable in-line microphone. It’s supple, tangles less than stock cables, and will work perfectly with the 2-pin connectors on the Diablo.
