1st time DM'ing and one of my players currently has these stats at level 2 (playing as level 3 now taking Oath of Veng). We play in person, and regardless of his rolls, in combat especially, his character seems INSANELY strong. I believe he's used ChatGPT to essentially create this entire character, including backstory and what he intends to take at each level. I just want to know, from more seasoned GM's, has he somehow (intentionally or unintentionally) fudged his numbers to essentially make a character that's almost unkillable, or if this is just how paladins be?

Included everything about the character from the sheets I have been provided, if there's anything more that's needed please let me know!

Thanks for you help in advance!

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to see this. First off, apologies if this came across as me being hostile towards this player: It is not meant in any way to be me "attacking" or otherwise trying to tear this players character apart. I simply came looking for any advice from fellow DM's to see if there was anything that I missed that might be, again "intentionally or unintentionally" affecting combat within the game.

2nd - What is provided is what I have been given - both images included. I believe that the generated sheet is from DNDBeyond (as evidenced in the top left on both sheets), so I'm not 100% sure how each stat has been determined as I wasn't watching them 100% of the time with regards to their character creation. My assumption is they have used DnD Beyond for the initial creation of the character, with ChatGPT as their "guide" to where to put their stats/what race to take etc.

**UPDATE**

So, having gotten in touch with the player, I can confirm they have provided me with an UPDATED sheet (as they confirmed they'd sent me an OLDER VERSION of their character sheet) I can now confirm the exact pathing they've taken, and their updated stats to level 2 going forward.

Starting from the top of DnD Beyond, and working the way through -

Taking Paladin class up to level 2: Traits ATH & INS, Weapon Mastery Glaive and Longsword, Fighting Style: FS Feat: Defense.

Custom background: 2 tools and 2 skills: Smiths T and Thieves T, SURV & PERS, Background: Soldier, Sugg Characteristics: Soldier

Race: Human, Skillful Prof: PERC, Versatile feat: Alert, Languages; Drac and Gnomish

Point buy: STR 15, DEX 8, CON 14, INT 8, WIS 10, CHAR 15 (total usage: 27/27 points)

Total INC Mods +/-: STR 17 (+2) DEX 8 (+0) CON 14 (+0) INT 8 (+0) WIS 10 (+0) CHAR 16 (+1)

ASI Origin: +2 and +1: CHAR and STR

Final score calc: Total (modifier): STR 17 (+3) DEX 8 (-1) CON 14 (+2) INT 8 (-1) WIS (10) (+0) CHAR 16 (+3).

Saving throw mods - STR +5, DEX -1, CON +2, INT -1, WIS +2, CHAR +5

With updating their inventory to remove the Plate armour (as many of you have pointed out - bit much for level 2), their Init stays at +1, AC drops to 17 and their Max HP works out to 20

Also, as most recently u/BuntinTosser pointed out, they may have taken the ASI in Species and also from the Origin, mixing up both rules and ending up with inflated stats.

Let me know if anything else seems off, as it is all benefitting me immensely
