I still haven’t received details about:

- manager/team placement

- office location / hybrid expectations

- first day logistics

- laptop / equipment

- whether background checks are fully done

For anyone who interned at IBM recently:

1. How long before your start date did you get manager/team placement?

2. When did office location/first day details or reporting details come?

3. Did background checks happen silently with no updates?

4. Who usually sends next-step emails (HR, manager, recruiter)?

5. Is it normal to know very little a few weeks before starting?

Just trying to gauge what’s normal. Thanks.
