WiFi issues on iPhone 15 pro

Hi friends, I hope this is okay to post here. I need some advice for an issue with my iPhone 15 pro. For the last few months I’ve been having issues with the WiFi on my phone. It started intermittently and has gotten worse over time. Basically the WiFi either stops loading but says connected and good signal or it drops and stitches to 5g briefly before switching back. I’ve also found when my device is locked and I wake it up a lot of the time it will briefly say 5g then switch to WiFi. This started a few months after getting a new router from spectrum. All of my other devices are fine and connect normally. I contacted apple they ran a diagnostic and found nothing. I contacted spectrum similarly nothing on their end. I’ve tried resetting, restarting, restoring from iCloud, setting up as new, tried different DNS providers, turn private relay and private WiFi address on and off. From my research, my hypothesis is maybe the device is having a hard time band switching since the new router combined the 2.4ghz and 5ghz network into one. So I looked into splitting or switching, unfortunately my new router doesn’t have the option to split the bands and is very locked down the only option is to temporarily turn off 5ghz to connect 2.4ghz devices. I did that and my phone worked normal for about a day or two and started acting up again. I don’t know what else to do. I can’t switch routers or providers. I could get a new phone, since all of my other devices work perfectly. But I’m on a budget and really wanted to make this phone last at least 3-4 years. If I had to buy a new device to fix the issue the only model I can responsibly afford is the iPhone 17e, which would be a downgrade in some ways. Other than this issue, my battery life is pretty bad, but I could replace the battery but I don’t want to invest in the phone if the WiFi can’t be fixed. I really appreciate any advice or if anyone else has had a similar issue too.
