I’m 21M, recently graduated, currently freelancing and honestly, I feel stuck.

My days have become very repetitive: sitting at home, working on my laptop, scrolling on my phone, and that’s about it. There’s this constant urge to get out, travel, and actually experience life beyond this routine. I don’t want to just exist I want to explore, meet people, and see new places.

But at the same time, something’s holding me back. I think it’s mostly financial uncertainty.

Since I’m freelancing, my income isn’t fully stable, and I keep wondering:

What if I run out of money while traveling?

How do people sustain long-term travel without a fixed income?

Is it even practical to rely on freelance work while constantly moving?

I don’t want this to be a one-time trip I want to build a lifestyle where I can travel and still earn enough to keep going.

So I’m trying to figure out:

How do you manage finances while traveling long-term?

What are realistic ways to earn while on the move (not just influencer stuff)?

How do you balance work and travel without burning out or going broke?

Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve actually done this or are currently doing it.
