Hi, I've been playing Black Ops 7 since launch day at an average of 120-130 FPS (150-160 if I enable the frame booster), and in February, during Season 2 Reloaded, after an update or some other change, the game became unplayable for me. I'm experiencing micro-stuttering literally every 2-3 seconds. The frame rate drops from 120 FPS to 80 in about 1 ms. I've enabled telemetry, and all I can see is that during these micro-stuttering episodes, the CPU time is higher than the GPU time. But as I mentioned before, this didn't happen before; from launch until February, I played countless hours with a completely smooth and stable 120-130 FPS.
These are my PC specifications:
I9-10900K
RTX 5070
16GB DDR4 3200mhz
Game is installed on a m2.
I know my hardware might be a bit bottlenecked, but I reiterate that I played without any problems until they changed something in the game. 90% of the time I experience micro-stuttering, the packet loss or latency variation icon appears, but the telemetry shows no change in latency. It remains stable at 14-15 ping.
The PC runs very demanding games without any issues; this only happens with Call of Duty. A few weeks ago, for example, I finished Black Myth: Wukong with all the settings maxed out, and it ran perfectly smoothly.
I've uploaded screenshots showing the telemetry at different points in the game. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I should also mention that I have all the settings on ultra, and if I put everything on low, nothing changes. It still behaves exactly the same. Could it be that the game isn't using all the CPU cores? I don't know, I'll read your replies, thanks.
