Moved into a house in December and knew I had horsetail, come the last few weeks and the extent of the problem is a lot worse than first thought I have an area to the side of my house (2m x 5.5m) where I have paving flags there is an extensive root system under the flags and hundreds of shoots between all the flags and around my conservatory.
I have been constantly pulling the heads off the plants and resorted to lifting the flags today and removing bags and bags of the roots.
Have read this isn’t ideal as if you leave any tiny amounts of roots it comes back.
I have 0 care for this bit if my house and filling it with chemicals won’t effect anyone (no neighbouring property, no pets, no grass lawn near this area).
Any tips for treating this?
