I use alexa to add things to my calendar, I've done it for years. A few months ago, maybe when I got Alexa+ automatically, it started prompting me whenever I have overlapping calendar events. It's Google calendar if that helps.

Is there any way to turn these overlapping event notifications off?

I use my Google calendar to remind me to do things all the time, so I often have overlapping events and this annoys the crap out of me.
