I worked physical labor my whole life, currently 39. My fingers feel stiff but operate well, I've had chronic elbow tendinitis which I received 3 or more cortisone injections over the years and changed employers. Im starting a new job, which will include manual labor, using a hammer along with its impact over a solid structure sends my nerves into chaos. I cannot sleep. I've MRI reports, and even the technician asked if I was ever in an serious injury, I reply, no I just work for a living. I just don't know what to tell doctors anymore. It's like they know a problem exists but refuse to even help because its unrealistic and unfixable. Northwest Chicago surgeons told me I have tendon issues and surgery would work but then backed out and told me change careers...work less physically which I have but my hands/arms kill me daily. I take Tylenol like its water, which doesn't do much besides make my stomach sick. I'm just so worried this life changing career, will end up my finale.
