Baby was 7lbs 9oz at birth now at 4 months she is only 11lbs.
At our 3.5 month appointment the doctor wasn’t super worried but definitely thinks it’s a good idea to get more feeds in. She is growing well just on the low side of weight. She is gaining about 3 oz a week. I am EBF and have never pumped. She is a very tall lanky baby just like her dad. I’m currently offering the boob any second I can and clocking 3-5 hrs a day nursing. A lot of that time is comfort nursing as I figured it doesn’t hurt and gets her to sleep easy. I’m pretty stressed and dealing with a lot of cramping. I’m wondering if my milk supply has dipped? Also if anyone has tips to help speed up the weight gain? Or had a similar situation. I’m basically house trapped at this point trying to get this baby to be chuckler. I am so tired and struggling to keep this pace up. I really want to make it until 6 months at least.
Also we have another appointment in two weeks to monitor the weight again with the doctor.
